This project was to provide a multi discipline reconfigurable water course facility to provide year-round training for both white water sports enthusiasts and the local Fire & Rescue Service in Pinkston, Glasgow.
- The patented pre-cast concrete base units complete with uni-strut rail installed to +/-2mm tolerances allow vehicles to be fixed down for fire and rescue training as well as the Rapidbloc system to create a canoe slalom.
- 3 x 7cumex pumps then push 21,000 litres of water per second down the course to recreate rapids.
The project was completed on time and within budget ready for the grand opening on the 14th May 2014.
The following video shows the project from start to finish.
