Region gets Newly Built Flagship Veterinary Hospital
Pet lovers across the region now have access to a state of the art flagship veterinary hospital thanks to a scheme between Croft Vets and Meldrum Construction.
The £3 million investment by Croft Vets has provided the group with much needed further space, allowing the regionally and nationally acclaimed veterinary surgeons to provide their exceptional expertise to more clients from both the north east and further afield.
The group currently boast seven surgeries, and the addition of the new hospital at Northumberland Business Park West in Blyth will allow those surgeries to operate a daily ‘GP’ first opinion service to local pets whilst the hospital, which has been designed and built by Meldrum, will act as a centre of excellence for operations, intensive care and recovery for both clients of Croft and for referral patients from other vets.
Meldrum Construction helped Croft with their vision from the start, helping source land and planning and designing the perfect building for its intended use, opening on time, and within budget in November 2008.
