Sandra steps up the ladder
Following a company restructure, Sandra Watson of Annfield Plain Stanley has been appointed to the position Office Manager for Meldrum Construction.
The mum of one, Ben, is delighted with the promotion and has been with the company for just two years, drawing daily on her previous experience from administration roles at leading companies including many years at Northern Rock.
Sandra’s duties include co-ordinating the 80 plus team, as well as ensure that all paperwork, invoicing, payroll and client liaison is kept up to date.
Sandra said:
“I enjoy working in the construction business and although it is supposed to be a man’s world, without a strong team of office based staff the company wouldn’t operate as well as it does.
“We focus heavily on communication and customer care in our service, as it is not enough just be good on site and deliver top quality construction solutions. As well as offering every service from design, planning, fit out and build, it is important to Meldrum Construction that we also offer a seamless service, and the team in the office have a big role to play in that.”
Sandra now heads up a team of four administration staff, all based at the head quarters in Birtley.
Having recently launched a new corporate identity and website at www.meldrumcs.com the company is truly focusing on being the best, delivering quality on time and within budget in a well managed manner.
